When you use the Advanced package, you gain access to sports-oriented compositions that include some scoreboards and other sports-centric graphics.
These graphics are all manually updated today (using the same user interfaced introduced in other articles). You can change scores, update times, add player names, and more - using the same techniques introduced in Basics of Building a Playlist.
Here is an outline of some of the possibilities - exact implementations will vary with the composition and sport. Most of these, in addition to room for a full logo, can be customized to a team logo (even if not mentioned in the individual descriptions below).
The currently available list of templates for sports include:
- (American) Football
Fullscreen Halftime Stats
Can show two logos, a title and subtitle, team names and scores, plus up to 5 stats consisting of two numbers and text:
The Lower Logo is a special lower third with room for a logo:
The Lower Matchup occupies the same space as the Lower Logo but has spaces for two team names, two team logos, and a dropline (subtitle):
Lower Player Stats
Again occupying the same space as the other "Lower" options, but this one with room for player names and stats, plus a team name, team logo, and headline. It can be customized with a team color too.
Panel Left - Team Lineups
The Panel Left appears on the left side of the screen. It has room for a team logo, a sub title, and an appropriate number of player names for the sport in question:
The scoreboard is a "bug" that includes the current score and the game clock. It has room for an abbreviate team name, can be customized with a team color, and then a clock appropriate to the sport. It appears in the upper right of screen, out of the way to remain on screen as long as you need it.
